Lamole
Castle is the ideal base from which to visit the most important art centres
in Tuscany, places in Chianti abounding in art and culture and villages
famous for their wines.
Medieval villages, castles, churches, abbeys, monasteries, cottages
and villas follow one after another, softly placed on the hills where the
undulating vines and olive trees and woods all create a unique harmony.

Vernaccia Di San Gimignano
D.O.C.G.
This is a renowned, historic
wine regarded as Tuscany's classic white. We are told that it was Michelangelo's
personal favorite. It is made from an ancient vine brought to Tuscany from
Greece in the 12th Century by Perone Peroni. It thrives in the yellow sand
and clay soil on the hillsides outside San Gimignano.
Dogajolo
"Dogajolo" is the creation of
Dr. GianCarlo Sacchet, the first and only Italian enologist to have won
the Robert Mondavi Trophy as the world's outstanding winemaker. It
is young like a Beaujolais, but has the character of a super Tuscan. It
is a blend of the best Sangiovese and Cabernet available to him.
Dogajolo is for the serious
wine drinker who enjoys good Chianti Classico Riserva and Brunello di Montalcino.
Farnito Chardonnay
The grapes for Farnito Chardonnay
come from vineyards encompassing 5 acres in the hills south of Florence
between the Chianti and Valdarno zones 1,000 feet about sea level. Select
clusters are hand picked and placed in special small boxes to protect them
from the slightest damage prior to vinification.
Lamole di Lamole Chianti Barrique Aged
The Pile e Lamole Estate is
located in the commune of Greve in Chianti, between the characterful villages
of Lamole and Pile on a natural terrace overlooking the Chianti Hills.
It covers 155 hectares, including 46 hectares of south facing vineyard
at an altitude of between 400 and 500 metres. In keeping with the belief
that fine wine starts in the vineyard, the highest standards are adhered
to in the cultivation of the vine, from the winter pruning to the harvest,
when the entire production is picked by hand.
Lamole di Lamole Vin Santo
"Holy Wine" Tuscany's classic
amber-colored dessert wine
